BD Thai Food & Beverage Limited has signed two contract manufacturing agreements with Sajeeb Group and Evergreen Beverage Limited to expand utilisation of its carbonated soft drink production line, as the company works to strengthen cash flow following a series of factory robberies that disrupted operations.
The agreements will see Sajeeb Group manufacture its “Wings” brand carbonated soft drinks and Evergreen Beverage Limited manufacture its “Suncrest” brand carbonated soft drinks at BD Thai Food’s factory. The company said the contracts are expected to support operational expenses, including utilities, salaries and wages, factory overheads and financial costs.
According to the company, the carbonated soft drink production line will operate at 70 per cent of its capacity under the contract manufacturing arrangements.
The remaining 30 per cent of capacity will be used to produce the company’s own “Nectar” brand products.
The board expects the production line to reach full utilisation in due course, which could improve profitability and help protect shareholder interests.
The company also disclosed that its factory has been affected by repeated security incidents in recent years.
According to the disclosure, three consecutive robberies have occurred at the factory since 2024, with the latest incident taking place on 10 February 2026.
During the most recent robbery, criminals allegedly stole valuable electrical cables and equipment worth a substantial amount, forcing a temporary shutdown of factory operations.
Following the incident, management invested in restoring key infrastructure, including the electric substation, generator systems and other power cables.
The company said production has resumed after the restoration work and factory operations are currently running smoothly.
