Bangladeshi cricketers are set to return to action as the longer version of the Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) is scheduled to begin on April 21, a source close to the development has confirmed.
Players are set to report on April 17, with Sylhet hosting the opening matches. Rajshahi, Bogura, and Dhaka are also likely to host subsequent rounds
The schedule includes breaks for player recovery, three days between the first two rounds and five days before the final round, which is expected to start around May 6 or 7.
This edition of the BCL provides valuable match practice for both national and domestic players ahead of the international season.
