The directors of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will meet on Saturday, April 4. The meeting will start at 11 am. Aminul Islam Bulbul will lead the session. It will take place at the BCB office at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. Some directors may join online.

Dhaka club cricket will be the main focus. The Cricketers’ Welfare Association of Bangladesh has sent a letter to the board. The meeting will look at steps to act on that. The agenda also includes the upcoming series against the New Zealand national cricket team. Other regular matters will also come up.

The board has faced issues since last year’s election. A dispute with Dhaka club organisers has slowed down club cricket in the city. There is also doubt over when the Dhaka League will start.

The board may also take a decision on the resignation of director Amjad Hossain.

At the same time, the National Sports Council has formed a five-member committee to review the last election. The work is ongoing. Some BCB directors have already spoken to the committee. It is not clear if this matter will be discussed in the meeting.
