The Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced the start of the Women’s Bangladesh Premier League T20. The event will run from April 3 to April 15, 2026.

This will be the first franchise T20 league for women in Bangladesh. The board sees it as a big step for the growth of women’s cricket in the country.

The first season will have three franchise teams. The teams will include top national players and young local talents. Local cricketers will join teams through a draft. The draft will help keep the teams balanced and strong.
