Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) reviewed progress of its Smallholder Agricultural Competitiveness Project at a workshop held at its seminar room on 31 March.
The programme was organised by the Seed Technology Division under the Smallholder Agricultural Competitiveness Project, according to a press release.
Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute Director Training and Communication Reshma Sultana presided over the workshop.
Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute Director General Mohammad Ataur Rahman attended as chief guest.
Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute Director Oilseed Research Center Md Manjurul Kadir, Director Horticulture Research Center Faruque Ahmed, and Project Director SACP Md Emdadul Haque joined as special guests.
Senior scientists and officials from different centres and divisions of the institute also attended the session.
Smallholder Agricultural Competitiveness Project Component Coordinator for the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute Parimal Chandra Sarkar presented a keynote paper outlining project activities.
