Barcelona have signed Belgian winger Jesse Bisiwu from Club Brugge on a long term deal. The Spanish champions reportedly paid £8.5 million for the 18 year old.
The club confirmed on Friday that Bisiwu has signed a contract until June 30, 2031.
“FC Barcelona and Club Brugge have reached an agreement for the transfer of Jesse Bisiwu, who signs up to be a blaugrana until 30 June 2031,” Barcelona said in a statement.
Bisiwu is Barcelona’s latest signing of the summer. He joins Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi, who also arrived during the current transfer window.
The young winger signed his first professional contract with Club Brugge when he was only 15. However, he did not play a senior match for the Belgian club.
Bisiwu is expected to begin his Barcelona career with the club’s reserve team before pushing for a place in the first team.
