The Trainers’ Association of Bangladesh hosted first-ever “Trainers’ Meet 2025” in Dhaka on Saturday, marking a historic milestone for the country’s professional development sector.
Over 150 trainers, including some of the most respected figures in Bangladesh’s training and development field, gathered for a powerful evening of collaboration and vision-sharing.
The event themed “When trainers unite, transformation begins,” focused on fostering unity and cooperation among trainers to boost national capacity building and drive socioeconomic progress.
This meet signals a growing recognition of trainers as key players in shaping the future of Bangladesh.
KM Hasan Ripon, president of the association, set the tone with a compelling opening address.
“We always believe collaboration is more important than competition. This is more than gathering, it’s a powerful statement of unity. Together, we’re showing the world that Bangladesh is rising with strength, knowledge, and purpose,” Ripon said.
Moderated by Yousuf Efti, founder and executive vice-president of the association, the event was a blend of inspiring talks and insightful exchanges.
Efti expertly connected seasoned professionals with the next generation of trainers, fostering a dialogue that focused on skills development, innovation, and the future of the training profession.
The event was also graced by key figures from the association, including its Vice-President Morad Hossain and Secretary General Laila Naznin, Treasurer Major (Retd) Del H Khan, and Innovation and Strategy Director Ziauddin Mahmud.
Their presence underscored the leadership’s commitment to building a unified platform for trainers across the nation.
One of the highlights of the evening was the participation of distinguished figures in the training and development sector.

They emphasised that training is more than a profession—it is a movement that can transform lives, unlock potential, and drive inclusive growth.
Throughout the event, the speakers reinforced a central message: “A nation grows when its trainers grow together.”
This sentiment resonated strongly as the gathering concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and optimism.
Bangladesh’s trainers are no longer working in isolation but as a united force, committed to skills development, social change, and nation-building.
