The government today appointed additional secretary of economic relations division (ERD) Mohammad Hasan Arif to Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) as vice chairman.
The public administration ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard signed by joint secretary Abul Haiyat Md Rafiq, reports BSS.
Apart from this, another notification announced that the government has transferred Additional Secretary of the Housing and Public Works Ministry Faruque Ahmed to Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection as director general.
The order issued for the public interest will be effective immediately, it said.
