The updated rolls include 6,52,12,731 male voters, 6,31,09,266 female voters and 1,243 transgender voters.
According to the previous updated electoral rolls published on November 18, 2025 ahead of the 13th parliamentary election, the total number of voters was 12,76,95,183.
The earlier list included 6,48,14,907 male voters, 6,28,79,042 female voters and 1,234 transgender voters.
The latest figures show the country’s voter base increased by 6,28,057.

However, the Electoral Rolls Act, 2009 was amended in 2025, allowing the commission to publish updated voter lists at any time of the year.
