Yousef SY Ramadan, ambassador of Palestine to Bangladesh, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister’s Foreign Affairs Adviser Humayun Kabir at the Prime Minister’s Office in Dhaka.
During the meeting held Thursday, the two sides held cordial and fruitful discussions on the historic and brotherly relations between Bangladesh and Palestine, bilateral cooperation, and issues of mutual interest.
Adviser Humayun Kabir reiterated Bangladesh’s continued support for the people of Palestine and highlighted the country’s position in the international arena on establishing just and sustainable peace.
He reaffirmed Bangladesh’s firm support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and the establishment of an independent, sovereign state.
The Palestinian ambassador expressed sincere gratitude to the government and people of Bangladesh for their longstanding support.
