Bangladesh National U-17 Football Team Head Coach Golam Robbani Choton has said his side is excited, motivated and fully prepared to face a strong Indian team in the final of the SAFF U-17 Championship.
The highly anticipated final is scheduled to take place at the Racecourse ground in Colombo, Sri Lanka tomorrow, Saturday, at 6.30 pm.
Speaking ahead of the match, Choton expressed confidence in his players, noting that they have undergone excellent preparation for the final.
“If the boys can stay united and give their best, there is a big opportunity for us to win the SAFF title,” he said.
Choton acknowledged India’s strength at the youth level, calling them a formidable and physically strong opponent. However, he urged his players to stick to the game plan and play with unity in order to get a positive result.
Team captain Nazmul Huda Faisal echoed the coach’s sentiments and thanked fans for their continued support.
“We have reached the final after performing well in the group stage and in the semifinal,” said Faisal. “We are very grateful for the support we have received throughout the tournament. We must play the final to fulfil our supporters’ expectations.”
The captain also called for continued support from the nation as the team aim to achieve their target and bring the title home.
