Bangladesh Bank employees used Bangla QR to make purchases and complete transactions throughout the day.

The central bank said active participation by its officials is expected to encourage wider adoption of Bangla QR across the banking sector. It also expects the initiative to contribute to increased nationwide use of the interoperable payment platform and support efforts to reduce reliance on cash.
