In a bid to further promote the tourism potential of the region, Bandarban district administration has announced that all tourist centres under its management will offer free entries on Eid day.
Abu Taleb, the additional deputy commissioner (General) of Bandarban, said the district administration periodically undertakes such initiatives to highlight the attractions of Bandarban while providing enhanced facilities for tourists.
As a result of this decision, visitors will not be charged any entry fees on 28 May to access several prominent locations.
The sites included in this offer are Meghla Lake, known for its two hanging bridges, the hill-top destination of Nilachal, Prantik Lake, Chimbuk Hill, and Nil Diganta.
