Bangladesh Television’s signature talent program, Notun Kuri, the first reality show in the subcontinent to explore young talent, is beginning its audition process. Regional auditions will be held from September 24 to September 29.
Contestants who receive a ‘Yes Card’ at the regional level will advance to the divisional level auditions, scheduled from October 4 to October 11. All auditions will run from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, though daily sessions may extend until the planned number of participants has auditioned.
Applicants will be notified of their specific audition date via SMS. Successful contestants from the divisional level will participate in subsequent stages at BTV Dhaka Center. Updates and details are available via BTV’s on-screen scroll and on the website: www.btv.gov.bd.
Competitions will be held in 9 categories:
- Acting
- Recitation
- Storytelling/Comedy
- General Dance/High Dance
- Patriotic Songs/Modern Songs
- Rabindra Sangeet
- Nazrul Sangeet
- Folk Songs
- Hamd-Naat
Participants are divided into two age groups:
- ‘A’ section: 6–11 years
- ‘B’ section: 11–15 years

Departmental Auditions for each division will be held at the respective divisional Shilpakala Academies and BTV Dhaka Center.
