Popular Bangladeshi actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba, best known for his romantic roles on television, is set to showcase a different side of his talent as he takes the stage as a singer for the first time.
The actor will headline Apurba Live Musical Night on 8 August at the Jamaica Performing Arts Center in New York.
The announcement has generated an overwhelming response from fans.
Sharing his excitement on social media, Apurba wrote that he never imagined receiving such incredible support within just 24 hours of announcing the event, adding that the love from fans had made the journey even more special.
According to the event poster, the two-hour concert will begin at 8:00 pm, with tickets priced at $100 and $300.
Organisers have said that seating is limited and described the event as “one night to remember” for Bangla-speaking audiences in the United States.
Although Apurba had once dreamed of becoming an engineer and studied computer science while also practising music, his career eventually took a different path.
Over the past two decades, he has established himself as one of Bangladesh’s most celebrated television actors.
Now living in the United States with his wife and daughter, he is preparing to reconnect with fans through music in what promises to be a memorable performance.
