ASP Md Bacchu Rahman, son of contracted Ansar member Nazrul Islam, was honoured at a reception held at 12:40 pm on 06 July 2026 at the Jessore District Ansar and Village Defence Force (VDP) office after securing the top position in the Police Cadre in the final results of the 47th BCS, according to a press release said. The event was organised by the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force to recognise the achievement.
The success of a contracted Ansar member’s son reaching the top of the Police Cadre has been described as a source of pride and inspiration for the organisation and its members.
At the ceremony, Jessore District Commandant and Deputy Director Mazharul Islam Bhuiyan presented flowers and a crest to ASP Md Bacchu Rahman. He said the achievement is not only a matter of pride for the family but also for all members of the Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Force, adding that it would strengthen confidence and inspire greater dedication to national service.
ASP Md Bacchu Rahman expressed gratitude and acknowledged the role of his parents in his success. He said his father’s discipline, honesty, hard work and sacrifice were his greatest inspiration, while also crediting family support and divine grace for his achievement.
The organisation extended its best wishes for his future career, good health and continued success. It said his accomplishment reflects that integrity, perseverance, discipline and family values can guide young people towards meaningful roles in national service, adding that it would inspire the next generation to pursue education and public service careers.
