Pakistani rock icon Ali Azmat, the unmistakable voice of ‘Junoon’, is returning to Bangladesh, but this time under his own name.
For the first time ever, he will headline a solo concert in Dhaka, promising an evening filled with the hits that made him a household name across South Asia.
The singer confirmed the news himself on social media on September 26, posting the concert artwork with the caption: “Finally! Hope to see you all.”
It will be his first appearance in the capital since 2019, when he wowed audiences at the Dhaka International Folk Fest. This return, however, marks a new chapter, one that highlights Azmat’s evolution beyond Junoon, with a career that spans acting, solo work and the creation of his band ‘Social Circus’.
