Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC reviewed its business performance and adopted several policy decisions at its 458th board meeting held on Thursday at the bank’s head office.

Al-Arafah Islami Bank Chairman Khwaja Shahriar presided over the meeting, according to a press release.

The board reviewed the bank’s overall operational activities and business performance as part of its ongoing strategic and policy planning.

Directors attending the meeting included Md Shahin Ul Islam, Md Abdul Wadud, Professor Mohammed Abu Eusuf and Mohammad Asraful Hassan FCA.

Bangladesh Bank Islamic Banks Regulation and Policy Department Director Mohammad Anisur Rahman attended the meeting as observer.

Al-Arafah Islami Bank Managing Director and CEO Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan, Acting Company Secretary Mohammad Moniruzzaman FCA and senior executives of the bank were also present.

The bank said several policy decisions were taken during the meeting to support future business operations and management activities.
