AKIJ Pharmacy, a retail chain of the country’s leading business conglomerate AKIJ Resource, has opened its first flagship outlet to ensure quality medicines and healthcare for its customers.
Popular actor and physician Dr S M Ejajul Islam Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser inaugurated the flagship outlet at Ataturk Tower in Banani, Dhaka, on Monday.
AKIJ Pharmacy began its journey in June 2025, with a commitment to providing quality and authentic medicines at affordable prices. Currently, the pharmacy chain operates 13 outlets across Bangladesh, including in Dhaka, Sylhet, Khulna, Pabna, and Jashore.
AKIJ Pharmacy Chief Business Officer Istiuck Ali Talukdar stated, “Our main goal is to provide safe, quality medicines to customers at affordable prices. We have set ourselves apart in the competitive market by offering top-quality medicines, customer-oriented services, and using the latest technology. Our aim is to earn customer trust and build long-term relationships.”
He added that the Pharmacy chain delivers the highest quality healthcare through premium medicines, advice from experienced pharmacists, and fast service. The company plans to open 500 more outlets nationwide within the next three years.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the chain’s Head of Operations Sujan Ghosh along with senior officials.
