Aishwarya Rai Bachchan closed L’Oréal Paris’ ‘Le Défilé’ at Paris Fashion Week on 28 September, making a striking statement in an all-black couture look.
Designed by Syrian luxury label Yara Shoemaker and styled by Mohit Rai, the ensemble featured a fitted velvet gown with 3D fringe embroidery and a crystal-embellished cape. A diamond-studded crown, rings and pumps completed the regal look.
However, her newly dyed fiery red hair became the biggest talking point. Styled in soft waves with a side parting, the bold colour contrasted sharply with her dark outfit.
Her makeup featured winged eyeliner, red lipstick, rouged cheeks and subtle contouring.
Aishwarya joined Celine Dion, Simone Ashley, Eva Longoria, Cara Delevingne, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda and Kendall Jenner at the showcase, held against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower and École Militaire.
