Agrani Bank PLC held its Rajshahi Circle business conference on Saturday to drive 2026 business targets and sharpen loan recovery efforts.
Managing Director Md Anwarul Islam joined the event as chief guest, with Deputy Managing Director Md Abul Bashar as special guest, said a press release.
Circle General Manager Mohammad Fazlul Karim chaired the meeting, which was attended by senior executives, regional heads from Rajshahi, Bogura, Chapainawabganj, Pabna, Naogaon, Natore, Joypurhat and Sirajganj, along with corporate and branch managers.
With classified loan recovery and SME disbursement at the grassroots now urgent priorities, Agrani’s top management is directly pressing its Rajshahi network to turn around 2026 financial metrics– a clear signal that the state-owned bank is moving from broad strategy to frontline execution in a region critical for deposits, trade and remittances.
