HONOR has officially introduced its latest flagship foldable smartphone, the Magic V6, to the Bangladesh market.
The device, which officially debuted on Saturday, is currently the world’s thinnest book-style foldable phone, measuring just 4mm when unfolded and 8.75mm when folded, reads a press release.
The ultra-slim handset weighs approximately 219g and features a hinge designed to be three times more durable than previous standards. This hinge has been lab-tested by SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection, and certification company, to withstand 500,000 folding and unfolding cycles.
When closed, the Magic V6 functions as a regular flagship Android phone with a 6.5-inch OLED display. Upon opening, it reveals a 7.95-inch inner screen designed for professional multitasking, such as split-screen note-taking and online meetings.
The device also breaks cross-platform barriers, allowing users to connect with Apple devices to share files or extend their screen directly to a MacBook.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Qualcomm’s top Android chip for 2026, and includes 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It houses a 6,660 mAh silicon-carbon battery, the largest in a foldable to date, setting a new industry benchmark with 25 per cent silicon energy density.
For photography, the device is equipped with the AI Falcon Camera System, featuring a 50MP Main Camera and a 64MP optically stabilised Periscope Telephoto Camera.
Furthermore, the Magic V6 is among the first foldables to combine IP68 and IP69 ratings, providing robust water and dust resistance alongside protection against accidental drops.
Reflecting on the launch, HONOR Bangladesh Country Manager Lang Guo said the phone reflects the company’s commitment to building AI devices that empower users through the HONOR ALPHA PLAN. “Foldable users should never have to compromise between design, reliability, and performance,” Guo said.
The HONOR Magic V6 is priced at Tk249,999 and is available in red, white, and gold colour options.
