Following the resignations of advisers Asif Mahmud and Mahfuj Alam, three members of the advisory council have been assigned new ministerial responsibilities, the government announced on Thursday.

Law Adviser Asif Nazrul has been entrusted with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, while the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development, and Cooperatives, previously under his supervision has been handed over to Adviser for Industries, Housing and Public Works Adilur Rahman Khan.
