The sale of advance train return tickets for Eid will begin on Friday, with tickets for 23 March available on that day. Bangladesh Railway confirmed the matter on 25 February and will sell 100 percent of tickets online.
Online ticket sales will begin daily at 8am for all intercity trains in the Western Zone. Tickets for intercity trains in the Eastern Zone will go on sale from 2pm each day.
According to the railway’s decision, tickets for 23 March will be sold on 13 March, 24 March on 14 March, 25 March on 15 March, 26 March on 16 March, 27 March on 17 March, 28 March on 18 March, and 29 March on 19 March.
Moreover, it has been decided that tickets for 20, 21, and 22 March will be sold based on the sighting of the moon. Upon passenger request, 25 percent standing tickets for non-AC coaches can be collected from the starting station before the start of the journey.
