Newcomer actor Ador Azad has made a name for himself in Dhallywood, among younger actors. He has received recognition for his roles in a number of movies including ‘Talash’, ‘Jao Pakhi Bolo Tare’, ‘Local’, ‘Tagar’ and ‘Lipstick’.
Yesterday, when ‘Shopne Dekha Rajkonna’ was finally released, the actor felt particularly fulfilled.
Although Ador appeared in other films released earlier, he considers Shopne Dekha Rajkonna his debut, as it marked the beginning of his journey in cinema.
“It feels wonderful to start my journey through a film made by a National Award-winning director,” he stated, thanking the film’s director Mostafizur Rahman Manik and producer Moushumi Mithila.
Sudipto Saeed Khan, a National Award-winning screenwriter, wrote the story. Ador portrays Rajon, who will stop at nothing to win over the one he loves, set in a romantic-social setting. He calls the role “rough and tough.”
Shopne Dekha Rajkonna is being screened in 27 theaters despite the present difficulties associated with the theatrical release of movies.
The actor thinks his fame is less of a factor in his success than luck. “I don’t know if I have stardom, but I’ve always been lucky,” he added. Prior to this, he co-starred in the box-office hit film ‘Local’, which was released during Eid and co-casted Shakib Khan.
Ador believes Shakib Khan is the biggest star in the nation and it takes patience and dedication to get to this level. “Instead of using the elevator, I would prefer to ascend the stairs gradually,” he states, as he refers to go after organic growth as opposed to taking the faster route to success.
Prior to becoming an actor, Ador worked in a five-star hotel and studied hotel management. He left behind a stable job with a good pay to devote himself entirely to acting. “Acting is my life and my focus,” he said. “I am unable to think about anything else.”
Aalok Hasan’s ‘Nakfuler Kabbo’ is one of Ador-casted movies that is still pending release. ‘The Pinik’ by Zahid Jewel has neared completion. Ador has referenced to a number of other upcoming projects, but he would rather not discuss them just yet. The actor has taken the decision to only work on movies and not on web series or TV dramas.
Although many artists are moving overseas, Ador does not currently have any such plans, although decisions may change in the future.
Ador Azad aspires to establish himself as a talented performer. His professional aspirations are slowly coming to fruition. His objective is unmistakable. “I want to succeed, but not by taking short cuts,” he said.
