AB Bank PLC held its 10th Iftar Mahfil to honour journalists, recognising what it described as their objective role in the country’s media landscape.
The bank said the event was organised to acknowledge the contribution of journalists in reporting on the financial sector.
Managing Director and CEO acting Reazul Islam addressed the programme in the presence of journalists from various media outlets and senior bank officials.
He praised what he called the impartial role of journalists in helping restore discipline in the banking sector.
