Aarong has launched an “Integrated Terminal QR System” in partnership with bKash to enable faster payments across all sales counters, significantly reducing customer waiting time at checkout.
The system, introduced at Aarong outlets, uses Instant Payment Notification technology to process bKash payments made by scanning Bangla QR with greater speed and efficiency, said a press release on Thursday.
The service was inaugurated at the Aarong outlet on Tejgaon-Gulshan Link Road in Dhaka. Aarong Chief Business Officer Tanvir Hossain, Head of Finance Nil Ratan Karmakar, Head of Retail Liyaqat Husain, bKash Chief Commercial Officer Ali Ahmmed, Merchant Payments Head Faisal Shaheed, Vice President SM Khaled Bin Halim, General Manager Sirajul Mowla, and senior officials from both organisations attended.
The system allows customers to avoid long queues and complete payments in less time. The unique identification feature enables employees at each sales point to process bills quickly while ensuring security of customer information.
