Assistant Director Kamal Chakrabarty filed this case as the plaintiff at the ACC office in Chattogram on Thursday. Nadvi is currently arrested and in jail.

Others accused in the case include former vice chancellor of Chittagong University Anwarul Azim Arif, Professor Kazi Din Mohammad, teacher Mohammad Saleh Zohar, engineer Rashid Ahmed Chowdhury, Mohammad Khaled Mahmud (brother of former minister Hasan Mahmud), Professor Fasiul Alam, Professor Abdur Rahim, Md Shamsuzzaman, Mohammad Badrul Alam, Mohammad Humayun Kabir, Muhammad Shafiur Rahman, Professor Mahi Uddin, Professor Afzal Ahmed, and Mozaffar Hossain Nadvi.
