National Bank PLC held its regional managers meet in Chattogram on Wednesday, bringing together branch heads from 19 branches to review performance and set strategies for the next phase of growth.

The meeting identified four focus areas to strengthen the bank’s operations — innovative deposit mobilisation, efficient loan recovery, expansion of import business, and stronger sales and marketing.

National Bank Managing Director Adil Chowdhury attended as chief guest. Senior Vice President Md Mizanur Rahman, Corporate and Regulatory Affairs Unit, and Senior Vice President and Regional Manager Mohammad Towhidul Karim also joined the session.

In his address, Adil Chowdhury said every branch acts as a driving force in the bank’s growth journey. “The banking landscape is evolving rapidly. To stay ahead, we must innovate, deliver new value, and uphold responsibility in every decision,” he said.

He urged managers to focus on vision, integrity, positivity, and accountability — calling them essential for achieving long-term success and positioning National Bank among the country’s top financial institutions.

The event ended with a renewed commitment from branch leaders to advance National Bank’s mission of sustainable growth, innovation, and customer service excellence.
