Bangladesh’s one of the leading golfer Jamal Hossain has kept his grip on the top spot at the Telangana Golconda Masters 2025 after completing the second round on Wednesday in Hyderabad.
Across two rounds, Jamal has played a remarkable 17 shots under par, maintaining his advantage over the rest of the field. He went nine under in the opening round and followed it up with another fine display in the second, finishing eight under.
On Wednesday, Jamal’s round featured six birdies and a spectacular eagle that drew attention from players and fans alike. The highlight came on the par-four 15th hole at the Hyderabad Golf Association course, where he sank the ball from the tee in just two shots. Notably, he had secured a birdie on the same hole during the first round.
India’s Akshay Sharma trails in second place, finishing the second round at 14 under par, three shots behind Jamal.
On the first round Jamal Hossain stole the show with a nine-under 61 in the opening round of the Telangana Golconda Masters 2025,.
With two rounds still to play, Jamal remains in commanding form and stands on the brink of another career-defining victory.
