13-year-old student Tawfiq Hossain (13), who had suffered burn injuries after a Bangladesh Air Force fighter jet crashed into Milestone School and College in Uttara, has been discharged from the hospital. He was a fifth-grade student at Milestone School.

Resident Surgeon Dr Shaown Bin Rahman of the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery confirmed the matter on Thursday afternoon.

He stated that around noon today, Tawfiq, who had been burned in the plane crash incident, has been discharged from the hospital. 9% of his body was burnt.

“Currently, we have 18 patients admitted here. 18 people have been discharged in healthy condition, and 20 have died,” the Burn Institute’s resident surgeon said.

Earlier It has been klewthat in the Milestone tragedy, a total of 34 people, including the pilot, teachers, and students, have died. Over a hundred were injured. The majority of the deceased were students.
