Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan delighted thousands of fans gathered outside his Mumbai residence, Mannat, on 2 November as he stepped onto his balcony to celebrate his 61st birthday with them.
Dressed casually, Shah Rukh waved, blew kisses and struck his signature arms-wide-open pose, drawing loud cheers from the crowd. Fans had begun gathering outside the residence hours earlier, carrying posters and recreating the actor’s iconic pose as they waited to catch a glimpse of him.
The actor reportedly celebrated his birthday at a Mumbai hotel with family and close friends before making time for the fans who had gathered outside his home.
His production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, also marked the occasion by sharing a video of Shah Rukh greeting his admirers. Wearing a white T-shirt, blue washed jeans, a beanie and sunglasses, he was seen blowing kisses and acknowledging the crowd.
“The KING of hearts, with his kingdom of love!” the production house wrote alongside the video.
The birthday appearance comes as Shah Rukh prepares for his upcoming film ‘King’, which has drawn attention from fans ahead of its release.
