Actor Khairul Basar has dismissed rumours of a romance and breakup with actress Tanjin Tisha, saying they have remained in contact over the years.
Speaking on a podcast, Basar addressed speculation about his relationships with several co-stars, including Tisha and Sadnima Binte Noman.
“Since when was I in a relationship with her? You can only have a breakup if there was a relationship in the first place! We used to talk before, and we still talk,” he said about Tisha.
Basar also responded humorously to rumours linking him with actresses he regularly works with in television dramas.
“I work with actresses all day. If rumours don’t link me with them, who else would they link me with?” he joked.
He dismissed speculation about Sadnima as well, describing her as a wonderful and outspoken co-star. He added that he actually enjoys the rumours rather than feeling irritated by them.
Asked about marriage, Basar said he had no immediate plans, citing family responsibilities and unfinished work commitments.
