India’s Border Security Force (BSF) attempted to push four people into Bangladesh through the Daulatpur border in Kushtia.
However, the attempt was thwarted by the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
The BSF took the four people back around 8am after the BGB contacted its officials.
Lieutenant Colonel Rashed Kamal Roni, commanding officer of Kushtia Battalion-47 BGB, said the BGB is discharging its duties with the utmost professionalism and alertness to prevent border violations and illegal entry.
He added that the force remains fully prepared at all times to firmly resist any such attempt along the border.
