Aneet Padda has joined the Panday family for Alanna Panday’s baby shower in Mumbai, giving fans another glimpse of her close bond with Saiyaara co-star Ahaan Panday, her rumoured boyfriend.
According to NDTV, the family hosted the celebration at Alanna’s parents’ Mumbai residence on Thursday. Alanna, Ahaan’s sister, is expecting her second child with her husband, Ivor McCray. Aneet arrived alongside other family members and later joined them in a light-hearted party game.
A video from the gathering has since surfaced online. In the clip, two teams hold a cloth at either end and try to pass a baby-sized doll between them. Aneet teamed up with Ahaan’s cousin, actor Ananya Panday. The pair accidentally dropped the doll during the game, prompting laughter from the other participants.
Fans were quick to notice Ahaan in the background and react to Aneet’s presence at the family gathering. “I’m grinning seeing Aneet and Ananya partner up for this cute game. And look at Ahaan in the background,” one user wrote.
“So so cute,” another commented. A third said, “They are so domestic; we got lucky.” Another fan remarked, “Ngl, it’s actually kind of insane when you think about how Aneet is already being included in the Panday family activities.”
Rumours about Ahaan and Aneet’s romance surfaced last year, but the two have kept their personal lives private and described themselves as best friends. They rarely make public appearances together, making candid moments such as the baby shower video a talking point among fans.
Ahaan made his acting debut opposite Aneet in Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara last year. The blockbuster marked Aneet’s first lead role in a feature film.
Following the film’s success, Aneet signed on for the horror comedy Shakti Shalini, scheduled for release in 2027. She has also appeared in the JioHotstar miniseries Hunkkaar.
Ahaan is currently starring in a film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The two Saiyaara leads are also expected to reunite in an untitled romantic film directed by Mohit Suri.
