Dhallywood actress Afia Nusrat Barsha has shared her thoughts on keeping relationships strong, saying love alone is not enough. She believes time, care, respect, sincerity and family ties are the real investment.
Barsha, who has been away from films, remains active on social media. She announced last year that she planned to step away from acting for family reasons. Married to actor Ananta Jalil since 2011, she has two children with him.
In a recent post, Barsha wrote, “To keep any relationship going, you have to invest in it. And by investment, I do not mean only money.”
She said money is necessary in life, but not always central to sustaining a relationship. “The real investment in a relationship is your time, your behaviour, your care and bringing someone into your life as part of your family,” she wrote.
Barsha urged people to introduce a loved one to their parents and elders. She believes family ties create deeper affection, respect and responsibility, making relationships harder to abandon.
“Love alone is not enough,” she concluded. “You need to invest time, care, respect, good behaviour, sincerity and family bonds.”
