A new drama titled Priyojon is set to explore family relationships, love, resentment and the emotions surrounding loved ones. Popular actors Partho Sheikh and Malaika Chowdhury have paired up in the drama, alongside several acclaimed artistes.
The cast also includes Abul Hayat, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Dipa Khondokar, Mili Bashar, Borda Mithu and Bashar Bappi, among others.
The story explores the complexities of family relationships. While love can deepen bonds between relatives, misunderstandings, resentment and conflicts of interest can sometimes create distance. Priyojon revolves around such emotional struggles and relationship tensions.
SR Majumdar has written and directed the drama. Zainal Abedin and SR Majumdar have jointly written the screenplay.
Speaking about the project, Majumdar said he believes the characters played by Partho Sheikh and Malaika Chowdhury, along with the chemistry between them, will be one of the drama’s key attractions.
“I hope the drama will touch the hearts of viewers when it is released,” he said.
