Ending months of speculation, Dhallywood actress Misty Zannat has confirmed that she is married.
Discussion began after the actress recently added a “Got Married” life event to her Facebook account.
She later confirmed her marriage in an interview.
Rumours had repeatedly linked Misty with actor Shakib Khan and even suggested that the two had married. However, those rumours have now proved untrue.
Misty said her husband is a businessman but declined to reveal further details about him.
When asked about the date and place of the wedding and her husband’s name, the actress said she could not disclose the information.
She only confirmed that the marriage took place in Bangladesh.
Speaking about her husband’s profession, Misty said he is a businessman and also has some involvement with the media.
However, she did not reveal his name or identity.
Asked whether it was a love marriage or an arranged one, Misty said she had married for love.
However, she did not disclose when their relationship began or when they got married.
She said revealing everything at once would leave no suspense.
Asked whether she would introduce her husband publicly in the future, Misty said she did not intend to keep him hidden.
She said she would introduce him to everyone at the right time. Jokingly, she also spoke about arranging an event in Italy.
Misty said the marriage did not happen suddenly. She said they had married some time ago but had kept the matter private.
According to the actress, people had repeatedly bothered her about marriage and relationships.
She said she had become frustrated by people calling her and asking to meet her, proposing meetings abroad or making romantic proposals.
Misty said this was one of the reasons she decided to reveal that she was married.
She said people should not assume that they can call an actress at any time and ask to meet her.
Misty Zannat and Shakib Khan have previously been the subject of discussion over their relationship and on-screen chemistry.
Rumours had even suggested that Misty could become Shakib’s third wife.
However, she made it clear that she had no desire to become Shakib Khan’s wife.
Asked about her honeymoon, Misty declined to provide any details.
