The deceased was identified as Sajjad Hossain Ratul. He lived with his wife in the Badda Beraid area and worked at a clothing store in Jamuna Future Park. Their family home is in the Mohakhali Madhyapara area of the capital.
The accident occurred around 10am on Friday while Ratul was riding his motorcycle to his shop from his residence. After the collision in the Vatara Madani Avenue area, he was left critically injured.
