Disney is bringing audiences back to Arendelle, with Frozen 3 set to hit theatres on 24 November, 2027.
According to Variety, The third instalment will once again feature Kristen Bell as Anna, Idina Menzel as Elsa, Jonathan Groff as Kristoff and Josh Gad as Olaf.
Continuing the franchise’s Thanksgiving release tradition, the film will arrive just ahead of the holiday in the United States.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but Disney has revealed a few surprises.
Anna and Kristoff will get married, a new villain will enter the story and Olaf will have a love interest named Samantha.
Disney previously unveiled concept art for the film in August 2024, featuring Elsa riding a white horse and Anna on a brown stag.
Bell had confirmed in 2025 that work on the film was getting underway.
She later dismissed reports that she would earn $60 million for reprising her role as Anna, calling the claim untrue.
The Frozen franchise is already looking beyond the third film.
Former Disney CEO Bob Iger previously confirmed that Frozen 4 is also in development, although details about the fourth instalment remain limited.
Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who wrote the songs for the first two films, will return to compose music for both upcoming instalments.
The original Frozen was released in 2013 and became a global phenomenon, earning around $1.3 billion worldwide and winning two Academy Awards, including Best Animated Feature.
Its 2019 sequel was an even bigger box-office success, grossing approximately $1.45 billion worldwide.
With Frozen 3 now set for November 2027, fans will have to wait a little longer to find out what awaits Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf in Arendelle.
