Kim Kardashian’s luxury home in Hidden Hills, California, faced a burglary scare on Sunday when police arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of breaking into the property.

According to Forbes, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies arrived after 4pm following a security guard’s report of a break-in. Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing. Kardashian and her family were reportedly staying at a rental property while the home undergoes renovations.

Kardashian, who shares four children with rapper Ye, has faced a major robbery before. In 2016, five armed and masked men posing as police officers entered her Paris hotel suite, bound and gagged her, and stole at least $6 million worth of jewellery.

“I absolutely thought that I was going to die,” Kardashian later recalled.

Ten suspects faced charges. Eight were convicted and two acquitted. Investigators believed social media posts helped the thieves track her. Since then, Kardashian has stopped sharing real-time locations and activities.
