Hulu has unveiled the first trailer and premiere date for The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project, a new reality series that follows the lives of Khloé Kardashian’s closest friends as they navigate motherhood, relationships, careers and life in the public eye, reports Deadline.
The six-episode first season will premiere on 21 August, with all episodes dropping simultaneously on Hulu and the Hulu–Disney+ bundle in the United States.
International audiences will be able to stream the series on Disney+.
Rather than centring on Khloé Kardashian herself, The Girls shifts the spotlight to her inner circle, featuring Natalie Halcro, Khadijah Haqq, Malika Haqq, Yris Palmer, Olivia Pierson, and Nicole Williams English.
According to Hulu, the series explores the personal and professional journeys of the group as they balance family responsibilities, romantic relationships, business ventures and the pressures of living in the spotlight.
The women come together through their close connection to Kardashian, but as they spend more time with one another, long-standing tensions, differing perspectives and unresolved issues begin to test their friendships.
The official synopsis describes the series as a look at the “highs and lows of motherhood, marriage, dating, business and life in the spotlight.”
Viewers can expect everything from career milestones and family challenges to girls’ trips, launch parties and life-changing decisions, alongside the emotional conflicts that arise within the group.
The newly released trailer teases glamorous events, candid conversations and emotional confrontations, hinting that the friendships will be put under pressure as the season unfolds.
Khloé Kardashian serves as an executive producer on the project alongside Julie Pizzi, Farnaz Farjam, Nicole Blais and Lauren Goldstein.
The series is produced by Bunim/Murray Productions, a division of Banijay Americas, the company behind several successful unscripted television franchises.
The show marks the latest expansion of the Kardashian family’s television presence beyond The Kardashians, offering fans a closer look at the women who have long been part of Khloé’s personal life but have largely remained in supporting roles on screen.
With its mix of luxury lifestyles, personal struggles and evolving friendships, The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project aims to deliver a fresh perspective on the extended Kardashian circle while maintaining the relationship-driven storytelling that has made the family’s reality programming a global phenomenon.
The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project premieres on 21 August on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ in international markets.
