One person died of dengue in the past 24 hours, while 338 patients were hospitalised with the mosquito-borne disease across the country, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The DGHS disclosed the figures in its daily dengue update issued on Tuesday.
Of the newly hospitalised patients, 76 were reported in Barishal division, 66 in Chattogram division, 18 in Dhaka division outside the city corporations, 41 in Dhaka North City Corporation, 76 in Dhaka South City Corporation, 34 in Khulna division, 11 in Mymensingh division, six in Rajshahi division, and 10 in Rangpur division.
The health authorities said a total of 11,195 dengue cases have been reported across the country so far this year.
Of the total patients, 61.2 per cent are male and 38.8 per cent are female.
The DGHS said 10,125 dengue patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals this year.
With the latest fatality, the number of dengue-related deaths has reached 38 in 2026.
