Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Maa Inti Bangaram has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office, marking a major milestone for the actress and the Telugu film industry. The achievement came on Sunday, with Samantha receiving the news in a surprise moment captured by her husband, filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, reported The Indian Express.
Raj shared a video showing Samantha’s spontaneous reaction after learning that the film had entered the Rs 100 crore club. The clip captured what appeared to be an emotional and genuine celebration of a milestone that has been years in the making.
The film has also emerged as the most profitable Telugu release of 2026 in terms of return on investment. Reports say it has recovered more than 300 per cent of its production budget. Overseas, the film has earned around $2.5 million, adding significantly to its global success.
Maa Inti Bangaram has also set another benchmark by becoming the first female-led Telugu film to cross Rs 100 crore worldwide. In doing so, it surpassed previous women-centric hits such as Mahanati and Arundhati.
The success places the film among India’s highest-grossing solo female-led productions. For Samantha, the milestone represents not only a personal achievement but also a significant moment for female-led stories, which continue to break box-office barriers.
