Police recovered the bodies of three people from separate locations in the capital on Sunday morning.

The deceased were Habib, 50, and Aman Hossain, 60, were recovered from the footpath in front of Amar Ekushey Hall at Ananda Bazar, while another unidentified man, aged around 40, was found near the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Shahbagh Police recovered the bodies around 10:30am and sent them to the Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.

Shahbagh Police Sub-Inspector (SI) Md Al Mamun said the two bodies found near Amar Ekushey Hall were initially unidentified.

Later, a CID forensic team identified them through fingerprint analysis.

The deceased were identified as Aman Hossain from Bangshal and Habib from Motijheel. Police said both men lived a vagrant life and suspected they died from illness.

Meanwhile, SI Md Swapan Mia said the unidentified man found beside the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital was also believed to be a vagrant.

Police have sought assistance from the CID forensic team to establish his identity. The body has been kept at the Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.

Authorities said the exact cause of the deaths would be confirmed after receiving the autopsy reports.
