Popular Dhallywood actor Apu Biswas has once again found herself at the centre of speculation after claims surfaced on social media suggesting that she had secretly married in Singapore. The actor has not issued any official statement regarding the rumours.
Amid the speculation, fashion choreographer Gautam Saha addressed the issue in a recent interview. He said he had also learned about the alleged marriage through social media and had no confirmed information about whether the claims were true.
Gautam Saha said he would congratulate Apu Biswas if the reports turned out to be true. If they proved to be nothing more than rumours, he added, there would be no reason for surprise. According to him, Apu Biswas possesses the confidence and ability to lead her life successfully on her own.
During the interview, he also recalled that Apu Biswas went through a difficult emotional period following her separation from Shakib Khan. He said he stood by her during that time, regularly spoke to her, encouraged her and helped her regain confidence and return to a normal life.
Gautam Saha further claimed that their relationship later became distant because of the involvement of a third person. However, he did not disclose that person’s identity. He also said they no longer remain in contact as they once did.
Meanwhile, Apu Biswas’ choreographer Mahfuz Kadri dismissed the rumours of the actor’s second marriage as completely baseless.
He said Gautam Saha had not worked with Apu Biswas for many years and would have been better off not commenting on the matter. According to Mahfuz Kadri, Gautam Saha is not aware of the actor’s current personal life.
He added that Apu Biswas frequently travels abroad for work. Whenever she travels with her son, Abraham Khan Joy, Shakib Khan and his family are aware of those trips.
Mahfuz Kadri said Apu Biswas is currently focused entirely on her son Joy and her career. He insisted there is no truth to the second marriage rumours circulating on social media. If she ever decides to marry again, he said, she will share the news herself.
So far, Apu Biswas has not made any official comment regarding the speculation. As a result, the reports remain unverified rumours.
