Zimbabwe Cricket have confirmed Bangladesh’s all-format tour for June and July, with Harare and Bulawayo set to host seven matches across three formats.
The tour will start with a one-off Test at Harare Sports Club from June 28 to July 2. Harare will also stage the ODI series before both teams travel to Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo for three T20 internationals.
The series will mark Zimbabwe’s first home fixtures since their run to the Super Eight stage at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. Zimbabwe beat Australia and Sri Lanka during the tournament and reached the second round for the first time.
Bangladesh and Zimbabwe shared a competitive Test series in Bangladesh last year. Zimbabwe secured a three-wicket win in the opening Test before Bangladesh levelled the series 1-1 in the second match.
Zimbabwe also enjoyed success during Bangladesh’s previous visit in 2022. The home side won both the ODI and T20I series 2-1.
Zimbabwe Cricket managing director Givemore Makoni welcomed the return of international matches to Harare and Bulawayo.
“We are delighted to confirm Bangladesh’s tour of Zimbabwe for what we expect to be a highly competitive and exciting series across all formats.
“This tour is hugely significant for us as it marks the return of top-level international cricket to our home venues following the team’s outstanding performances at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup earlier this year.
“Our supporters have every reason to be proud of what we have achieved in recent months and we are looking forward to seeing fans once again rally behind the team in Harare and Bulawayo.”
Bangladesh will arrive in Zimbabwe after a whitewash Test series win against Pakistan in the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle. They will also play against Australia for three ODIs and three T20Is in Bangladesh before travelling to Harare.
