A fire that broke out at a foam factory in Saddam Market, Kadamtali, Dhaka, was brought under control on Friday evening at 9:05pm.
The blaze was first reported at 6:24pm, and fire service units were immediately dispatched to the scene.
The first unit arrived at 6:43pm. In total, five fire service units were deployed to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby shops and warehouses.
No casualties have been reported so far, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
