The four-day deputy commissioners (DC) conference 2026 will begin on 3 May at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium, bringing together field-level administrators from across the country.
A press briefing on the overall arrangements of the conference will be held on Saturday at 3:20pm at the Cabinet Division office in the Secretariat, according to officials.
The Cabinet Division has invited media representatives to cover both the briefing and the conference sessions.
Officials said a total of 34 working sessions are scheduled for this year’s conference, which will continue through May 6, focusing on key administrative and policy issues.
Sources said 498 proposals have been selected for discussion at the event.
The annual DC conference serves as a crucial platform for direct engagement between the government and district-level administrators.
During the event, DCs are expected to exchange views with the president, the prime minister and the chief Justice on matters related to governance and public service delivery.
