Midland Bank PLC held its 179th Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday at the bank’s head office board room in Dhaka, where directors reviewed key investment proposals and strategic priorities, the bank said in a press release dated April 29.

The meeting, chaired by Midland Bank Chairman Ahsan Khan Chowdhury, brought together senior board members and executives to assess the bank’s business performance and outline future growth plans.

Board participants included Vice Chairman Md Shamsuzzaman, Executive Committee Chairman Rezaul Karim, Director Master Abul Kashem, Director Mostafizur Rahman, Director AKM Badiul Alam, Director Mohammed Jamal Ullah and Independent Director Riaz Ahmed Choudhury.

Managing Director and CEO Imtiaz U Ahmed and Deputy Managing Director Md Zahid Hossain also attended the session.

The board reviewed and approved a range of agenda items, including investment proposals and policy matters, while discussing the bank’s overall business outlook and strategic initiatives.

Directors provided guidance aimed at supporting continued development and ensuring sustainable progress for Midland Bank, according to the press release.
